Apple Pear Cinnamon Fall Sangria

Ingredients

The fruits and spices

  • 2 pieces red delicious apples
  • 1 piece Anjou pear
  • ½ large orange
  • 2 sticks cinnamon

The liquids and sweetener

  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • ¼ cup apple brandy
  • 1 750 ml bottle white wine
  • to taste none club soda

Instructions

  1. Combine the sliced fruits, cinnamon sticks, and honey in a large sealable glass container.
  2. Pour in the white wine and apple brandy, then mix the ingredients with a wooden spoon.
  3. Seal the container and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, up to 72 hours.
  4. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer and pour into a glass filled with finely crushed ice.
  5. Top with a splash of club soda and stir gently with a cinnamon stick.
  6. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and thin apple slices.
