Ingredients

The burgers

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 2 pieces green onions
  • 1 piece chipotle pepper, canned in adobo sauce
  • 2 Tbsp almond flour
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup finely shredded Organic Valley Mild or Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Optional toppings

  • as desired gluten-free buns
  • as desired lettuce leaves
  • as desired sliced red onion
  • as desired tomatoes
  • as desired avocado
  • as desired mayo

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, green onions, chipotle pepper, almond flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Mix in the shredded cheese until evenly distributed.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 portions and shape them into patties about ½-inch thick.
  5. Grill the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until fully cooked (165℉ internal temperature).
  6. Serve on buns or lettuce wraps with desired toppings.
