Ingredients

  • 14.5 ounce can of diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon chipotle powder or cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning with more chili powder or chipotle powder if needed.
  4. Use the sauce immediately or simmer gently on the stovetop for 10-15 minutes if desired.
