Homemade Salsa Verde

Instructions
- Preheat the broiler with a rack about 4 inches below the heat source.
- Place the tomatillos and jalapeño(s) on a baking sheet and broil until blackened, about 5 minutes.
- Flip the tomatillos and jalapeño(s) and broil for an additional 4 to 6 minutes until blistered.
- In a food processor, combine chopped onion, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
- Transfer the roasted tomatillos and jalapeño(s) to the food processor and pulse until mostly smooth.
- Adjust seasoning with more lime juice and salt as needed.
- For creamy avocado salsa, let cool and blend in diced avocados.
