Strawberry, Basil and Goat Cheese Panini

Balsamic Honey Sauce

⅔
cup
balsamic vinegar

⅓
cup
honey
Instructions
- Spread goat cheese on both slices of bread.
- Slice strawberries thinly and layer them on one slice of bread, add basil on the other slice.
- Sprinkle black pepper on both sides and place the basil side down on the strawberries.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter, then add the sandwich.
- Cover with a plate and weigh down to press the sandwich, cooking until browned.
- Flip the sandwich, add more butter and repeat until both sides are golden.
- Slice the sandwich in half and serve warm.
- For the sauce, combine balsamic vinegar and honey in a saucepan and simmer until reduced by half.
- Cool the sauce before serving.
