Maple Mustard Brussels Sprouts

pure maple syrup

stone ground or Dijon mustard
Instructions
- 1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and cook the bacon until browned and crispy, about 7-10 minutes. Remove and chop into pieces.
- 2. Drain most of the bacon fat from the skillet, then heat the oil to medium-high.
- 3. Add the Brussels sprouts cut side down and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- 4. Transfer the cooked Brussels sprouts to a serving plate.
- 5. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and mustard until combined.
- 6. Drizzle the Brussels sprouts with the maple mustard sauce and top with the chopped bacon.
