Ingredients

The Brussels Sprouts

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts

The Marinade

  • 1 ½ tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cloves minced garlic

Instructions

  1. Heat the grill according to the instructions on the charcoal bag.
  2. Blanch the Brussels sprouts in boiling water for about 2 minutes.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the mustard, maple syrup, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Toss the halved Brussels sprouts in the marinade to coat them well.
  5. Skewer about 4 halves of Brussels sprouts onto each skewer.
  6. Grill the skewers on each side for about 3 to 4 minutes until grill marks appear.
  7. Remove from the grill and enjoy, optionally brushing with extra sauce.
