Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and spray an 8-inch square pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- 2. Whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a medium bowl.
- 3. In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and sugar, mixing until combined, then stir in the dry ingredients without overmixing.
- 4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spoon the Chocolate Hazelnut Butter or Nutella over the batter, swirling it in with a toothpick.
- 5. For the streusel topping, mix together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cold butter until crumbly, then sprinkle it over the cake, followed by the hazelnuts and chocolate chips.
- 6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the cake is set and a toothpick comes out clean, then let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
