Ingredients

The potatoes

  • 6 pieces Russet potatoes (6-8 ounces each)

The seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Toppings

  • to taste toppings of your choice (such as butter, cheese, bacon, and sour cream)

Instructions

  1. Scrub the potatoes and prick holes in each one with a fork.
  2. Rub olive oil over the potatoes and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap each potato in foil.
  4. Place the wrapped potatoes in a crock pot.
  5. Cook for 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
  6. Carefully unwrap the potatoes and cut them open.
  7. Serve with your choice of toppings.
