Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Place half the Brussels sprouts cut-side down in the skillet and sear without moving for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.
- Toss the sprouts, sprinkle with half the salt and several grinds of pepper, and cook for another 5 to 6 minutes until tender.
- Remove the first batch and repeat with the remaining sprouts.
- Once the second batch is done, add the first batch back to the skillet and heat through.
- Squeeze lemon juice over the sprouts and season with more salt if desired, then serve hot.
