Ingredients

For Steel Cut Oats

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

For Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 pinch kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Add the oatmeal and liquid to the Instant Pot along with the cinnamon stick and kosher salt.
  2. Select the manual setting and set the cooking time for 3 minutes on high.
  3. After cooking, allow the pot to naturally release the steam for 20 minutes.
  4. Release any remaining steam and carefully open the lid.
  5. Add toppings of your choice and additional almond milk to taste.
  6. Refrigerate any leftovers for 3-5 days.
