Instructions
- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- Prepare the marinade and marinate the pork chops for at least 1 hour, or use seasoning instead.
- Remove the chops from the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C) and heat a cast iron skillet on medium-high heat.
- Melt the butter in the skillet and sear the pork chops for 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and sear for another 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C), about 6-8 minutes for 1-inch thick boneless chops.
- Remove the pork chops from the oven and let them rest for 3-5 minutes before serving.
