Instructions
- Combine the chia seed meal, almond meal flour, arrowroot powder, baking soda, baking powder, and any optional herbs and spices in a bowl and whisk together.
- Add the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, milk substitute, and warm water to the dry ingredients.
- Mix the ingredients with a handheld mixer until combined, then let the dough rest for about one minute.
- Divide the dough into two portions, then each portion into three for small tortillas or four for large tortillas.
- Place one dough ball between two pieces of parchment paper and flatten it with your hand.
- Roll out the dough to the desired size (6.5 inches for small or 8 inches for large).
- Transfer the rolled dough on the parchment paper to a cookie sheet and bake at 375°F for about 7 minutes for small tortillas or 8 minutes for large tortillas.
- Allow the tortillas to cool on a wire rack.
