Ingredients

  • C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 C. sugar
  • ½ C. unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ tsp. baking soda
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 C. milk
  • ½ tsp. vanilla extract
  • ½ C. butter, melted
  • ½ C. mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and prepare the muffin pan with liners or nonstick spray.
  2. 2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  3. 3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. 4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just blended, then fold in the mini chocolate chips.
  5. 5. Spoon the batter into the muffin liners and bake for 18 to 20 minutes.
  6. 6. Allow the muffins to cool briefly in the pan before transferring them to a cooling rack.
