Ingredients

Dry Ingredients

  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed meal
  • 2 tbsp finely shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 2 pieces pitted dates, chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped walnuts

Wet Ingredients

  • ½ over-ripe banana
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 scoops unflavored whey protein
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • a few gratings nutmeg
  • a pinch salt

To serve / garnish

  • to taste milk
  • to taste Plain Greek yogurt
  • to taste Pure maple syrup
  • to taste banana chips

Instructions

  1. Combine all the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. In a food processor or blender, combine all the wet ingredients and process until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
  5. When ready to serve, add more milk if desired and garnish with Greek yogurt, banana chips, and maple syrup.
