Homemade Banana Bread Larabars

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup dates
  • ¼ cup dried banana
  • cup raw almonds
  • 1 small banana

Instructions

  1. Slice the small banana and lay it on a greased baking sheet.
  2. Cook the banana at 175°F for 2-3 hours until dry, optionally using a food dehydrator.
  3. Chop the dates and add them along with the dried banana to a food processor. Process for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Set the mixture aside and add the raw almonds to the food processor. Process for 1 minute.
  5. Combine the almond mixture with the date and banana paste and blend well using your hands. Divide into two halves.
  6. Place each half on a piece of saran wrap, fold it over, and roll flat with a rolling pin or soup can to shape.
  7. Refrigerate the bars.
