Ingredients

The dressing

  • ½ cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons honey or granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 medium lemon (zest and juice)
  • ½ teaspoon kosher or sea salt

The salad

  • 2 medium heads broccoli
  • ¼ medium red onion
  • ½ cup roasted sunflower seeds
  • ½ cup unsweetened dried cranberries

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the yogurt, sugar or honey, mayonnaise, vinegar, lemon zest and juice, and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
  3. In a large bowl, toss together the broccoli, onion, sunflower seeds, and dried cranberries.
  4. Toss with the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
