Ingredients

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 units Bob's Red Mill Egg replacements
  • 4 tbsp warm water
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • cup maple syrup
  • 3 tbsp almond milk
  • tbsp melted coconut oil

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Topping

  • 1 cup mini dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line an 8x8 baking tin with parchment, lightly greasing it.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg replacement and water, stir until combined and let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining wet ingredients to the bowl and stir until well combined.
  4. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined without overmixing.
  5. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth it out with the back of a spoon.
  6. Top the batter with mini dark chocolate chips evenly before baking.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, using a toothpick to check for doneness.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan before serving.
