Ingredients

The pork

  • 5-7 lbs Pork Shoulder (Pork Butt)
  • 7 cloves Garlic
  • 1-2 Tablespoons Hawaiian Red Alaea Sea Salt
  • 2-3 slices Smoky Bacon
  • ¾ cup Water

The vegetables

  • 1 medium Head Green Cabbage
  • 1 lb Baby Carrots

Instructions

  1. Cut the pork shoulder into 3 equal pieces.
  2. Stuff the pork with garlic slivers.
  3. Sprinkle red sea salt over the pork pieces.
  4. Wrap bacon around each piece of pork or add liquid smoke with the water.
  5. Add water to the pressure cooker and place the pork inside.
  6. Seal the lid and set the steam release knob to Sealing.
  7. Pressure cook for 90 minutes.
  8. Allow natural pressure release for at least 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the pork and shred it in a bowl.
  10. Add cabbage and carrots to the pot and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  11. Shred the pork and serve with the cooked vegetables.
