Ingredients

The salmon

  • 4 fillets salmon

The cooking fats

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Seasoning

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Once hot, place the salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked.
