Instructions
- 1. Boil salted water in a large sauté pan and blanch the broccoli rabe for about 2 minutes.
- 2. Transfer the broccoli rabe to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process, then drain and pat dry.
- 3. Heat olive oil in the same pan over medium-high heat and sauté the garlic until fragrant.
- 4. Add the broccoli rabe, sea salt, black pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes, cooking until warm.
- 5. Serve with grated parmesan cheese and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
