Instructions
- Peel and cut the yams into cubes.
- Boil the yams until soft, about 10-15 minutes, then drain.
- Return the drained yams to the pot and mash them, keeping some texture.
- Add the remaining ingredients and mix until combined.
- Serve immediately or place in an oven-safe dish to reheat later.
