Instant Pot Cube Steak with Onion Gravy

can Beef Broth, low sodium

packet Onion Soup Mix

can Cream of Mushroom Soup, condensed (low sodium, if possible)
Instructions
- Mix the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then spread it out on a plate.
- Coat both sides of the cube steaks in the flour mixture and set aside.
- Turn on the Sauté setting and add the oil when hot.
- Brown two cube steaks on both sides, then repeat with the remaining two steaks. Set aside.
- Add butter and onion to the pot, cooking until softened, scraping the bottom to loosen browned bits.
- Stir in beef broth and scrape the bottom again.
- Return the cube steaks to the pot on top of the onions.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix over the steaks and spread cream of mushroom soup on top.
- Close the lid, set the steam release knob to Sealing, and turn off the sauté setting.
- Select Pressure Cook/Manual for 15 minutes on high pressure.
- After cooking, let the pot sit for 10 minutes for natural release, then release remaining steam.
- Open the lid and remove the cube steaks to a platter.
- Stir the onion gravy, thickening if necessary with a cornstarch slurry.
- Serve the dish over mashed potatoes, rice, or cauliflower.
