Cubed Steak with Peppers and Olives

Ingredients

  • 8 pieces cubed steak
  • teaspoons adobo seasoning or garlic salt
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • ¼ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 small red bell pepper, sliced
  • ½ medium onion, sliced
  • cup green pitted olives
  • 2 tablespoons olive brine

Instructions

  1. Season the cubed steak with adobo seasoning or garlic salt.
  2. Add onions and peppers to the cooking pot.
  3. Pour tomato sauce and water over the vegetables, then add olives and some brine.
  4. Add the cubed steak, cumin, and bay leaf.
  5. For Instant Pot, cover and cook on high pressure for 25 minutes, then natural release and simmer to thicken.
  6. For Slow Cooker, cook on low for 8 hours.
  7. For Stove Top, sauté onions and peppers, then add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour until the beef is tender.
