Ingredients

Stir Fry

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • lb Flank steak
  • ¾ tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 medium Red bell pepper
  • 1 medium Green bell pepper
  • 1 large Yellow onion

Pepper Steak Sauce

  • cups Beef broth
  • 3 tbsp Arrowroot powder
  • ¼ cup Coconut aminos
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger

Instructions

  1. Season the sliced flank steak with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak until browned, then remove and keep warm.
  3. Reduce heat and stir fry the bell peppers and onions until softened.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together some beef broth with arrowroot powder until smooth.
  5. Add coconut aminos, remaining beef broth, honey, garlic, and ginger to the mixture and whisk to combine.
  6. Pour the sauce over the vegetables, stir, and bring to a simmer. Add the steak and cook until the sauce thickens.
