Ingredients

The base

  • ¾ cup gluten free rolled oats
  • 1 cup non dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

The fruit

  • cup sliced strawberries
  • extra sliced strawberries for topping

The sweetener

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey

Optional ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • dash cinnamon
  • to taste mix-ins (nut butter, chocolate chips, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Combine oats, strawberries, milk, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and optional lemon juice or vinegar in a bowl.
  2. Mix well and let the mixture soak in the fridge overnight or for at least 2 hours.
