Whole Grilled Trout

Ingredients

  • 2 whole trout (about 14 oz. each)
  • to taste kosher salt
  • to taste freshly ground pepper
  • 2 slices lemon
  • to taste tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 wedges lemon (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to high.
  2. Season the trout with salt and pepper, and stuff the cavity with lemon slices.
  3. Rub olive oil over the fish.
  4. Grill the trout for 3.5 to 4 minutes on each side.
  5. Serve with lemon wedges and sea salt.
