Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients: sugar, milk, lemon juice, pecans, oil, orange juice, zest, and eggs.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures until just moist.
- Pour the batter into a greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
- Bake for 45 to 48 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar and orange juice until smooth, then drizzle over the bread and sprinkle with pecans.
