Ingredients

  • 8 ounces semi-sweet vegan chocolate chips
  • 8 ounces coconut cream

Instructions

  1. 1. Fill a small saucepan with an inch of water and place a heat-safe bowl over it to create a double boiler.
  2. 2. Add the chocolate chips to the bowl and bring the water to a boil, stirring occasionally until the chocolate is smooth.
  3. 3. Remove the bowl from heat and whisk in the coconut cream until the mixture is silky smooth.
  4. 4. Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 2 hours until firm.
  5. 5. Once firm, use a hand mixer to whip the frosting until fluffy and lighter in color.
  6. 6. Spread the frosting on your favorite cake or pipe it onto cupcakes.
