Roasted Acorn Squash with Maple Butter

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425ºF.
- Slice the acorn squash in half and remove the seeds and membranes.
- Sprinkle salt on the cut sides of the squash and place them cut side up on a baking sheet.
- Roast the squash for 15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and add 1 tablespoon of butter and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup to each half.
- Return to the oven and roast for an additional 25-35 minutes until very soft, basting with the melted maple butter every 10 minutes.
- Once roasted, let cool slightly before serving.
