Instructions
- Press the tofu between two plates with a weight on top for about 30 minutes to remove excess liquid.
- Chop the tofu into small pieces and coat with salt and cornstarch.
- Heat oil in a skillet and fry the tofu until golden brown and crispy, about 10 minutes.
- Add hoisin sauce to the tofu and stir to coat.
- Prepare the toppings by chopping peanuts, slicing green onions, and shredding the carrot.
- Assemble the lettuce cups by adding rice, hoisin tofu, green onions, carrots, and peanuts into each lettuce leaf.
