Ingredients

The salad

  • 4 cups cooked chicken breast, diced into bite sized pieces
  • ½ cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • ½ cup pecans, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley leaves, finely chopped

The dressing

  • ¾ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken in a large bowl.
  2. Add the celery, red onion, grapes, pecans, and parsley to the bowl.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the dressing over the chicken and vegetable mixture and toss gently to coat.
  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
