Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, then whisk in cocoa, sugar, and espresso until smooth.
- Allow the batter to cool for 7-8 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the egg and vanilla to the cooled batter and whisk until smooth.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the walnuts.
- Line a 4" x 9" bread pan with parchment paper and pour in the batter, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, being careful not to overbake.
- Allow to cool before serving.
