Instructions
- Heat a saucepan and sauté onion and garlic in canola oil for 5 minutes.
- Add brown sugar, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, mustard, ginger, black pepper, crushed red pepper, cloves, and plums; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30-40 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Preheat the oven to 450°F.
- Sear the pork tenderloins in a skillet with canola oil for 7 minutes until browned.
- Transfer the pork to a foil-lined pan and coat with plum sauce.
- Roast for 15 minutes, then flip and coat with more sauce, roasting for an additional 10 minutes until cooked through.
- Let the pork stand for 10 minutes before slicing and serving with remaining sauce.
