Ingredients

The dough

  • 14 ounces refrigerated pie crust

The filling

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan
  • 2 teaspoons pizza seasoning or Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup chopped pepperoni (optional)
  • 1 cup marinara

For sealing and brushing

  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Roll out the pie crusts and cut into 6 circles, about 5 inches wide.
  3. Gather the excess dough, roll it out again, and cut into 2 more circles.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix the mozzarella, parmesan, and pizza seasoning.
  5. Divide the cheese and pepperoni mixture between the circles and top each with 1 tablespoon of marinara.
  6. Dab the edge of each circle with milk using a silicone brush.
  7. Fold the circles in half and crimp the edges with a fork.
  8. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  9. Cook in a single layer in the air fryer for 10 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Serve with the remaining marinara.
