Summer Rosé Sangria

Ingredients

Strawberry Syrup

  • ¼ cup water
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ pound strawberries, trimmed and sliced
  • 1 pint raspberries (¼ cup reserved for syrup)
  • pinch kosher salt

Sangria

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) rosé
  • cup Cointreau (3 fluid ounces)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lime, sliced
  • ½ pound strawberries, trimmed and sliced
  • ½ cup raspberries

For Serving

  • sparkling water
  • ice

Instructions

  1. Make the strawberry syrup by simmering water, sugar, strawberries, raspberries, and salt in a saucepan until softened.
  2. Strain the syrup and let it cool completely.
  3. In a pitcher, combine the rosé, reserved syrup, Cointreau, orange slices, strawberries, lime juice, and raspberries.
  4. Chill the mixture in the fridge for at least 2 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, add sparkling water and pour over ice, garnishing with fruit.
