Stuffed Pork Chops

Ingredients

The pork chops

  • 2 8-oz Boneless pork chops
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • Toothpicks

The stuffing

  • ½ cup Sauteed mushrooms
  • 2 oz Swiss cheese
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C).
  2. Slice a pocket into the fatty side of each pork chop.
  3. Season the outside of the pork with salt and pepper.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the sauteed mushrooms, cheese, and parsley.
  5. Stuff the mushroom mixture into the pork pockets and secure with toothpicks.
  6. Place the pork chops on a baking sheet or casserole dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 140°F.
  7. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the stuffed pork chops for 30-60 seconds per side until golden brown.
