Lemon Butter Sauce

unsalted butter

Instructions
- Prepare the lemon butter sauce by combining butter, lemon juice, and lemon zest in a saucepan over medium-high heat until the zest dissolves.
- Allow the steaks to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.
- Pat the steaks dry and season both sides with lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat with olive oil.
- Sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side, ensuring the edges are also seared.
- Check the internal temperature using a meat thermometer to achieve desired doneness.
- Drizzle the cooked steak with lemon butter sauce and let it rest for at least 3 minutes before slicing.
