Instructions
- Melt butter in a saucepan and mix in flour to create a roux, cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Whisk in milk until smooth and bring to medium heat to thicken.
- Add Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper, simmering for 3-5 minutes.
- Stir in Swiss and Romano cheese until blended, then add chicken stock.
- Preheat oven to 375°F and coat a 9x13 inch casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Layer shredded chicken in the dish, followed by cubed ham and parsley.
- Pour the cheese sauce over the layered meats without stirring.
- Mix Panko bread crumbs with melted butter and sprinkle over the casserole.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until bread crumbs are browned, then let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
