Grilled Baby Back Ribs

The BBQ rub

Instructions
- Pat the ribs dry and remove the membrane from the back.
- Drizzle liquid smoke onto both sides of the ribs.
- Sprinkle the BBQ rub on both sides and press it into the meat.
- If using only a dry rub, let the ribs rest in the refrigerator overnight; if using BBQ sauce, let them rest for 2 hours.
- Preheat the grill to 250 degrees.
- Place the ribs on the grill, meat side up, away from direct heat.
- Grill the ribs for 90 minutes to 2 hours, checking for doneness with a meat thermometer.
- Brush BBQ sauce on both sides of the ribs and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove the ribs from the grill and let them cool before serving.
