Smoked Ribs

Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225°F and load it with wood chips.
- Remove the membrane from the ribs and coat them with the BBQ rub.
- Place the ribs bone side down in the smoker and smoke for 3 hours, basting with apple juice every 30 minutes.
- After 3 hours, mix 1 cup apple juice, 1 cup BBQ sauce, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Pour the mixture over the ribs and wrap them in foil.
- Return the wrapped ribs to the smoker and smoke for an additional 2 hours.
- Remove the foil, brush the remaining BBQ sauce over the ribs, and increase the smoker temperature to 250°F.
- Smoke the ribs uncovered for 1 more hour, then let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
