Slow Cooker Ribs

Ingredients

The ribs

  • 1 rack Baby Back Ribs

The spice rub and sauces

  • 3-4 Tablespoons Spice Rub
  • ½ cup Apple Juice
  • cup Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
  • 1-2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke
  • ½ - 1 cup Barbecue Sauce

Instructions

  1. Pat the ribs dry and cut them to fit the slow cooker.
  2. Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs.
  3. Rub the spice rub on all sides of the ribs.
  4. Pour the apple juice, ACV, and liquid smoke into the slow cooker.
  5. Add the ribs to the slow cooker and cover.
  6. Cook on High for 3-5 hours or Low for 6-8 hours.
  7. Remove the ribs and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Slather the ribs with barbecue sauce.
  9. Optionally broil the ribs for a few minutes to caramelize the sauce.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy.
