Ingredients

For the Instant Pot

  • 1 ½ cups Water (or Apple Juice/Cider)
  • 2-3 Tbsp. Liquid Smoke
  • cup Apple Cider Vinegar

For the Ribs

  • 1-2 racks Baby Back Ribs
  • ½ - 1 cup Dry Spice Rub
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce

Instructions

  1. Put a trivet in the Instant Pot and add water or juice, liquid smoke, and apple cider vinegar.
  2. Prepare the ribs by removing the membrane and applying the dry spice rub on both sides.
  3. Roll the rack of ribs into a 'C' shape and place it in the pot.
  4. Close the lid and set the venting knob to Sealing.
  5. Select Pressure Cook and set the timer for 25 minutes.
  6. After cooking, let the pot naturally release pressure for 10 minutes.
  7. Release any remaining pressure and carefully remove the ribs.
  8. Optionally, broil the ribs with BBQ sauce for a few minutes until bubbly.
