Instructions
- Remove the membrane from the underside of the ribs using a butter knife and paper towel.
- Pat down the ribs to remove excess moisture and drizzle with olive oil, then coat with BBQ rub.
- Set the grill to 250°F and smoke the ribs for 2 hours.
- Prepare the hot honey by simmering honey, then adding vinegar and red pepper flakes, and let it steep.
- Make the BBQ sauce glaze by combining BBQ sauce and vinegar in a saucepan and reducing it over medium heat for 10 minutes.
- After 2 hours, wrap the ribs in foil with butter and apple juice, then return to the smoker for another 2 hours.
- Increase the grill temperature to 350°F and glaze the ribs with BBQ sauce, cooking for about 45 minutes.
- Drizzle hot honey on the ribs before serving.
