Traeger Smoked Ribs

The rub and marinade

For wrapping
Instructions
- Preheat the smoker to 225°F.
- Pat the ribs dry and remove the membrane from the back.
- Rub mustard on both sides of the ribs and apply the BBQ rub, pressing it into the meat.
- Let the ribs rest for at least 20 minutes or refrigerate for up to overnight.
- Place the ribs on the smoker, meat side up, and smoke uncovered for 3 hours.
- Baste the ribs with melted butter and apple cider vinegar if they appear dry after 1.5 hours.
- Wrap the ribs in foil with butter and apple cider vinegar and smoke for an additional 2 hours.
- Remove the ribs from the foil and smoke uncovered for another hour, optionally applying BBQ sauce.
- Check the texture of the ribs and remove them from the smoker.
- Let the ribs rest for 20 minutes before serving.
