The sauce
For preparation
Instructions
- Mix the spices for the rub in a small bowl.
- Rub the ribs with olive oil to help the rub adhere.
- Generously apply the rub to all sides of the ribs and let sit for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the smoker to 250°F.
- Add wood chips to the smoker.
- Place the ribs in a foil pan and smoke for 2 hours.
- Cover the pan with aluminum foil and smoke for an additional hour until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
- Remove the foil and coat the ribs with barbecue sauce.
- Return the ribs to the smoker for another 30 minutes.
- Let the ribs rest for 15 minutes before serving.
