Country Style Ribs in Oven

bbq sauce (approx. 18 oz)

Instructions
- 1. Remove the ribs from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
- 2. Preheat the oven to 275ºF.
- 3. Season the ribs on all sides with salt and pepper.
- 4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add avocado oil, and brown the ribs on all sides in batches.
- 5. Place the browned ribs back in the skillet, brush with liquid smoke, and cover with a lid.
- 6. Cook in the oven for 2 hours.
- 7. Carefully transfer the ribs to a plate and discard the liquid from the pan.
- 8. Return the ribs to the pan, pour the BBQ sauce over them, add minced garlic, and mix to coat.
- 9. Cook uncovered in the oven for 45 minutes, basting halfway through.
- 10. Remove from the oven and serve with your favorite sides.
