Easy Country-Style Pork Ribs in the Oven

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F.
- Season both sides of the ribs with salt and pepper and place them in a single layer in a roasting pan, fattier side up.
- Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 2 hours.
- After 2 hours, carefully remove the ribs from the oven, drain the liquid, and check for tenderness.
- If the ribs are still tough, cover and return them to the oven for an additional 15 to 30 minutes.
- Transfer the ribs to a plate and brush them with a generous coating of BBQ sauce.
- Lower the oven temperature to 275°F and bake uncovered for another hour.
- Check for tenderness; the ribs are done when the meat can be pulled apart with a fork.
- Brush with more BBQ sauce, let rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
