Slow Cooker Country Style Pork Ribs

Instructions
- Combine the chili powder, kosher salt, cumin, dried oregano, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder in a bowl.
- Rub the spice blend into the country-style pork ribs and let them sit for 15-30 minutes.
- Spray the bottom of the slow cooker with cooking spray and add the chopped onions and garlic.
- Place the seasoned ribs on top of the onions in a single layer if possible.
- Pour the barbecue sauce and chicken broth over the ribs.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 3-4 hours until the ribs are tender.
- Remove the ribs from the sauce and keep warm under aluminum foil.
- Skim excess fat from the sauce, then heat it in a saucepan until thickened.
- Brush the ribs with the heated barbecue sauce and serve.
- For crispy ribs, broil them for 3-5 minutes before serving.
