Chenjeh Kebabs

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs top sirloin steaks, cubed
  • 1 large yellow onion
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 2 tsp ground sumac
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Light coals and set the grill for direct grilling.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the cubed sirloin and finely chopped onion.
  3. Add salt, sumac, and pepper to the beef mixture and mix until coated.
  4. Skewer the beef chunks onto skewers.
  5. Grill the skewers directly over high heat until charred on all sides.
  6. Serve with steamed Basmati rice and grilled tomatoes.
